A partnership between our Mar Vista Gardens Club and Foley & Lardner LLP has ignited an interest in law among our teen members. The six-week Street Law Program has given our teens a unique opportunity to explore the legal system.
During the initial sessions, teens learned key terms and requirements for contracts. They practiced negotiation techniques and negotiating a contract. In the upcoming weeks, they will learn about copyrights and workplace law.
Our teens loved the experience and are excited to continue the sessions! The Street Law Program has proven to be an invaluable experience, sparking their curiosity in legal careers and equipping them with practical knowledge that will benefit them throughout their lives.
