BRUNCH WITH PURPOSE: HELP SHAPE A BRIGHTER FUTURE FOR LOCAL KIDS
Join Boys & Girls Clubs of Santa Monica at the Future Ready Brunch for an inspiring morning of play, joy, and community impact.
Santa Monica, Calif. – Boys & Girls Clubs of Santa Monica invites the community to experience play, joy, and hope at the Future Ready Brunch on Saturday, April 26, at 10 a.m. at the Fairmont Miramar. This immersive event will showcase the impact of Boys & Girls Clubs of Santa Monica’s programs for kids and teens through inspiring stories, interactive activities, and a shared vision for a brighter future for kids and community.
Attendees will meet and learn from inspiring Club members! The event will feature a panel discussion, a lively brunch, a curated silent auction, and opportunities to support essential programs for kids—more important now than ever as the LA community continues to heal from fires earlier this year.
Event panelists include Joanna Colunga, Portfolio Manager at the Ballmer Group; Lou Calanche, Executive Director of Expand LA; Jeremy Ferguson, Operations & Placemaking Director for Downtown Santa Monica; and Kelly Reynolds, Vice President, Pacific Region for Boys & Girls Clubs of America. These leaders will discuss what it means to be Future Ready and the importance of preparing kids and teens to thrive in an ever-changing world.
“Our community plays a vital role in shaping the future of our kids and our work is more important than ever in the wake of trauma and economic uncertainty caused by the LA fires,” said Brynja Seagren, CEO of Boys & Girls Clubs of Santa Monica. “At the Future Ready Brunch, you will see firsthand how our programs and safe spaces help kids build resilience, experience joy, and find their pathways to success. Together, we can ensure every child has the resources and support they need to heal and thrive.”
Boys & Girls Clubs of Santa Monica serves over 2,200 local kids every year. Funds raised at the Future Ready Brunch will directly support programs that help kids build critical life skills and gain the confidence to pursue their dreams. From career exploration to mentorship opportunities and mental health support, every dollar invested empowers young people with the tools they need to shape their futures and become the leaders the community needs.
Join Boys & Girls Clubs of Santa Monica for a morning of inspiration, connection, and impact. Tickets and information can be found at smbgc.org/brunch.
